Wanted "People living with Insomnia" Photography Project
I'm a contemporary portrait photographer located in central Ipswich, Suffolk. I've been a professional portrait for over 30 years and have photographed well-known faces such as Prince, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, The Osbourne's, the Spice Girls alongside many others such as politicians, actors, and film stars.
I’m currently looking for subjects to work with on my latest personal portrait project with centres around the subject of Insomnia. The issues around this theme affect millions of people, but it’s a subject that is rarely highlighted or even discussed outside of concerned groups.
Each participant, will also supply a short essay or poem, based around their personal issues and struggles with insomnia; this will add context alongside their photographic image(s)
The fine art photography that I would like to create requires interesting people and this can only be achieved with willing subjects who will offer me their time and access into their everyday lives. I am not necessary looking for professional models nor for people who can pose in front of a camera. I would like to take portraits of everyday people from all walks of life. So, if you find this very important project interests or resonates with you and your experiences, I would very much appreciate if you could take just a moment to fill out this form. I will not share any of your information or include you on any email list. This simply helps me to organise the portrait sessions based on locations, times subjects are available, and what type of portraiture would best suit you.
